TGF-¦Â family members, which include TGF-¦Âs, activin and BMPs, are pleiotropic cytokines that elicit cell type-specific effects in a highly context-dependent manner in many different tissues. These cytokines and their intrinsic intracellular signaling pathways extensively regulate cell proliferation, differentiation, fate determination thus are closely related to human diseases including cancer. This session invites experts and scholars who study TGF-¦Â to explore and communicate on the frontier development of this field.
