The development of plants depends on the maintenance and continuous differentiation of stem cells in their entire life. Stem cells and their immediate progeny in plants form specific spatial patterns of cells with diverse behaviours, which is the key process of plant developmental regulation. This session will focus on the new breakthroughs in this field to share our knowledge on plant stem cell maintenance, induction and differentiation.
